In Vitro Models

General description: The online course presents state-of-the-art in vitro models including organoids, 3D cell constructs, ex vivo models, organ-on-a-chips, and computational modeling of different tissues. Additionally, the course gives an overview on use of in vitro models in regulatory safety and efficacy assessment. Please see the program attached.
Content of the course: 10 live streamed lectures and recordings in English. For students who wish to receive credits (2 ECTS), attendance to all lectures and a learning diary is mandatory. Course material will be provided via TUNI Moodle platform.
Participation: Remote participation via provided link. The course is free of charge for Master’s students, and PhD students. For others, payment for the course is 200 €.
